Analysis of data is performed using Tomoview software. ![]() ![]() Our portable Phased Array equipment is capable of performing tests and acquiring data in situations where other systems can not be used due to fixed restrictions and limited general access. The following pictures give some insight to the types of access problems that are often encountered when performing tests at Refineries or Power Plants. Please contact our Technical Sales Manager (Eric Kivlin) to discuss your requirements for Phased Array or Advanced Flaw Sizing methods at: ekivlin@axiomndt.com [To the Top] Advanced Ultrasonic Flaw Sizing We are able to conduct advanced flaw sizing methods such as phased array, creeping wave, time of flight and delta time of flight techniques. All of these inspection techniques have their place when discerning and sizing cracks and defects. With our highly skilled and qualified technicians we are able to offer solutions and the ability to monitor defects through the use of these advanced flaw-sizing methods. The Phased Array approach provides the most flexible solution when the detection and monitoring of defects is desired. This is due to the equipment having the ability to generate focused longitudinal and shear wave arrays, which can be stored and compared for future reference and comparison. This inspection method can help in establishing growth rates of cracks or erosion/corrosion rates of an in service component. ![]()
